Computer Tomography

Computer tomography produces cross sectional images of head and body using a rotational collimated x-ray beam and detector array.

Pathological processes of head, brain, chest, abdomen, vertebral collumn and discs, bone structure are revealed. Bone density measurements are helpful in the management of osteopporosis. With the 64-multislice CT functional brain imaging, coronary angiography, virtual colonoscopy, multiplane reconstructions with high resolution in every plane are rotinely used.
